The first production car born from Czinger’s proprietary production system, the 21C is created utilizing Human‑AI design, 3D printing technology, automated assembly and patented in-house developed materials.
The 21C combines road-legal street use with dominating track performance. With lift-to-drag of 3.5:1, the 21C generates over 2000kg of downforce at 190mph.
The 21C’s iconic design originates from the concept of functional art. Performance driven “Iine logic” gives rise to the car’s dramatic shape. Every opening (cut) line on the car connects two graphic or functional features, and strong, athletic surfaces flow and wrap around the car’s performance core. Rooted in aerodynamic efficiency, the 21C’s in-line seating creates a narrow cabin that pierces the air. The shrink-wrapped body hugs the chassis, tightly sculpting the front and rear overhang around the wheels.
Never has a production car combined all of these design elements. Czinger’s revolutionary technology enables this design breakthrough. The result is a car that looks like nothing else on the planet. The Czinger design team upholds the company ethos of next generation thinking. The 21C provides the ideal seating position to achieve optimal performance driving and weight distribution.
The 21C’s advanced and highly efficient powertrain was designed, developed, and built by Czinger. Achieving a true 1:1 power to weight ratio, the 2.88 liter delivers the most specific power of any current production engine. This enables the 21C to achieve an astonishing 8.1 second quarter mile, 0-62 mph in 1.9 seconds, zero to 186 mph and back to zero in 15 seconds and zero to 248 mph and back to zero in 29 seconds. At 329hp per liter, Czinger’s priorities are clear – maximize power to weight and power efficiency.
The 21C’s hybrid powertrain uses the world’s most power dense production IC engine as its foundation. It is a 2.88 liter, flat-plane crank V8 with twin turbos located mid-vehicle. The V8 is coupled with an 800V electric drive and regen system. An e-motor drives each front wheel and the batteries are charged during operation both through regenerative braking and a Motor Generator Unit (MGU) using a gear drive that is attached to the IC engine. The total strong hybrid system delivers a peak output of 1250hp (1233bhp).
